Company Presentation
The aim for Navigraph is to provide the international flight simulation community with tools and software like those available to the aviation industry.
Navigraph is a Swedish software company founded in August 2003. It is an independent subsidiary of Screenlab Interactive AB.
Currently Navigraph offers:
- Airport Charts via the nDAC software, launched October 2004
- Flight Managment System Data via the website, launched October 2006
- Enroute Chart via the nDAC software, launched March 2007
- Tutorials via the nDAC software, launched April 2007
Navigraph consists of software engineers and a network of pilots and ATC personnel. In addition Navigraph work closely with the following partners:
- Screenlab Interactive AB: Screenlab provided the seed capital needed to cover for the initial costs. Screenlab also provides software developers and ready-made software solutions.
- European Aeronautical Group AB: EAG is the general data provider and offers an agreement stipulating that Navigraph is the exclusive vendor of EAG aeronautical data to the flight simulation community.
- NAVData-Service: Richard Stefan of NAVData-Service has since October 2006 been on the Navigraph team as the senior developer for the FMS Data service.
- Videoflyrec: A Spanish production company provides a large part of the video tutorial section in the nDAC software.
Navigraph uses a business model based on credits. Due to the many and small transactions made by the users, an account is created for each user onto which payment tokens, credits, can be charged. This business model is flexible in the sense that it allows for payments at a number of places within the Navigraph e-commerce structure, both on the website and in the client interfaces.
Currently Navigraph has 56580 active users.
